The body is magnificently and miraculously designed to function optimally and we have the simple task of supporting it to do that by providing what nourishes it.
I'm Gail, Registered Nutritional Therapist working with clients from my online and in-person clinic.
I work with woman in their 50s and over. This is a time when women often discover the importance of prioritising their own well-being. Many of us begin to encounter concerns about weight gain, osteoporosis, heart or brain health. These are all related to metabolic health, a very special interest of mine.
I partner women like you by guiding and supporting them to achieve their health goals and re-discover the best versions of themselves. We embark on a positive and personalised journey and together as we explore the best ways for you to nourish yourself, and make rewarding and long lasting changes. You deserve to live a full life, with a strong and energetic mind and body.

What is nutrition? (it is not a diet)
-
Nourishing ourselves involves so much more that WHAT a person eats, it is about WHEN, HOW, and interestingly, WHY we eat.
-
How food is prepared also makes a difference to the nutrients we are able to access from it.
-
Nutrition is very personal. Each of us have very different nutritional requirements and respond to foods in different ways.
-
We also nourish ourselves with essential lifestyle practices like sleep, movement, social interaction, and stress management.

Why a Registered Nutritional Therapist?
-
We are regulated by our professional body, the British Association of Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT), We are science and evidence-based practitioners, and obliged to undertake continuous professional development (CPD) to keep up to date with the latest research and practice guidelines.
-
We practise personalised nutrition and lifestyle therapy, highly specific to each individual client.
-
We are trained to understand the biochemical processes in the body and mind, and consider the whole body and all its biological systems when guiding each client on how to create a food and lifestyle environment to suit them.
